COLLIN CRESS

How did he come to Sports PT?
Collin is a native of Long Island but grew up in Webster and joined the Webster clinic of Sports PT in 2019, specializing in Sports Injury & Recovery and Athletic Performance . Collin is a graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School and earned his BS Administration Degree from St. Bonaventure University. Collin earned is Master of Physical Therapy degree from East Carolina University in 2002. A former competitive athlete himself, Collin is competitive and passionate about sports and performance enhancement. Collin has worked with and consulted for athletes on all different levels of sports, specializing in Sports Injury, Recovery, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Athletic Performance. Some of his notable clients include athletes from the South Eastern Conference (SEC), NFL, MLB, LPGA and more.

Collin earned his NYS Coaching Certification in 2000 and has been coaching various levels of sports at the high school and collegiate level for over 15 years. Collin is a Certified Section Five Referee and is a current member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is currently pursuing the highly selective VertiMax Master Trainer designation.

Favorite Part Of The Job:
The ability to educate, guide and help someone heal and return to function is truly a gift. Being that special someone that helps an athlete to “take their game to the next level” is incredibly fulfilling. Physical therapy is a way of life rather than a job, and gaining the trust of a patient/athelete is a rewarding part of what I do.

Other Interests:
I am an avid sports memorabilia collector and love watching, playing and coaching many sports including: baseball, football and wrestling. I enjoy the four seasons Rochester has to offer and can be found camping/hiking, beach/boating, cooking or festival going depending on the season. Most of all, I love being a Dad. I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and my two boys, Ethan and Sebastian. I have found a deeper meaning in my life since my boys were born and always look forward to being with them.
