How did she come to Sports PT?
I served on the Board of the American Red Cross with Lynn Steenberg and admired hearing her success stories. She offered me a chance to facilitate an All State meeting for Sports PT and I was convinced that I wanted to be part of the next chapter with these wonderful people!

• Received a BS in Business/Human Resources from SUNY Empire State College.
• Earned a Certificate in Human Resources from LeMoyne College
• Consults with organizations on human resources, team dynamics and strategic planning

What’s her favorite part of the job?
Being able to contribute to the development of the people who make up Sports PT is the best part. Strategically aligning with the leadership to bring programs to the staff, community and the stakeholders delivers daily satisfaction and reward.

What does she enjoy outside of work?
Spending time with my family, engaging in community activities and helping those in need.

ALEX DIRIENZO

How did he come to Sports PT?
I wanted to join a team that puts people first and help that team and their positive mentality grow.

• Earned his B.A. in English from LeMoyne College in 2013
• Performs in Murder Mystery dinner theatre with the ACME Mystery Company

What’s his favorite party of the job?
Meeting new people

Things Alex enjoys outside of work:

• Watching movies, reading, live music, and being outside when it’s not winter!

LORI AMICO

How did she come to Sports PT?

A friend of mine referred me to Sports PT because she liked working here. After interviewing here, it was easy to see why. I can’t think of a better place to work.

• Joined Sports PT in 1998

Favorite Part of the Job:

I love helping patients resolve their accounts by researching what their insurance carriers have paid and helping them understand their responsibility following that payment.

Other Interests:

I love Nascar.  My favorite driver is Kyle Larson. I also enjoy watching football and going to casinos.

Joined Sports PT in 2020.

What’s the favorite part of her job?
The everyday challenge.

STEPHEN KIRES

How did he come to Sports PT?

Being a former patient, I knew Sports PT is a great practice. I was eager to find a workplace whose values matched mine, and Sports PT was an ideal fit!

• Graduated SUNY – University at Albany 2019
  • BS – Finance and Entrepreneurship
• Professional interests include process improvement, financial analysis, and relationship building.
• Personal interests include nature, biology and conservation.

Favorite Part of the Job:

My favorite part of my job is my awesome work family, the constant learning process, and problem solving

Other Interests:

I enjoy golfing, working out, hunting, hanging out and traveling with my family and friends, and being active with my dog, Draco. I also love to binge watch shows and movies!
